Brette has been studying Jeet Kune Do for 5 years. Before that she tried her hand at baseball, soccer and dance before finding a permanent home at the JKD Extreme Academy.

She found that the discipline instilled in her by Sifu Carrion carries far past the art itself. Her grades at school have risen dramatically since being taught the JKD way and her confidence levels has risen as well. Her biggest satisfaction comes from teaching the younger students the the same principles that has allowed her to progress in her life.

Brette is currently in her senior year at Santaluces High School and looking to continue progressing in Jeet Kune Do. She is currently a Junior Instructor.
